Despite what the #FakeNews media is saying, Acuna already has 40 HRs

It has been so much fun watching this team. Hope Riley and Duvall can get it going vs a lefty.

In most of the world, it in fact does not.

Many people are saying that FearlessLeader is very, very forward-looking and -thinking, and in point of fact that we’ve been designating game-threads incorrectly for years as the rest of the fans leave us in the dust—which, as you know I know, is actually very bad for us.

Eff the metric system...Murica

Sequencing date nomenclature by order of magnitude isn’t “the metric system”, it’s simply the only logical formulation.

I know - I've worked for a multinational company for a long time.

Month intrinsically carries the most (only) useful information; it should be first. Knowing that it's the 14th is completely worthless without context (aka... the month), knowing it's November at least gives you some idea of weather, holidays, traffic patterns, etc. for a given location.

I’d say the year is pretty important...Maybe it should be first?

Maybe in 1890. It’s a global globe now—November is summer in a lot of the world. Or seasonally distinct, even in the northern hemisphere. Or soon to be distinctly not-very-autumnal, even in places where “November” formerly connoted certain environmental elements.

Order of magnitude is the way to go.

(Time-zones are also silly, btw.)

Whatever the case may be, I wouldn't be opposed if timezones and hemispheres were added in the thoroughly detailed GDT's that Taylor makes. That's in addition to the fine work he already does to let us know the general managers, owners, stadium location, etc.

Moon-phase and State bird, too, while we’re at it.

This might be the game we get blown out then Julio surprises with a 6 inning shutout performance tomorrow. Then we beat the Nats bullpen Sunday after Scherzer shuts us down for most of the game.
