It might be getting to be time to admit that Snit knows what he's doing.
It's hilarious that we got Iggy just by paying his salary.
No, wait! We had to give up Tucker Davidson and Je….oh, I see what you mean.

There is still a lot of risk. We owe him a lot of money over the next few years.
Was looking at the remaining schedule and this is what we have left vs the division.
Mets - 7
Marlins - 6
Phillies - 9
Nationals - 9
IMO, the Mets and Marlins are running out of time to catch up with us with less head to head matches this season. The Phillies IMO are not out of it by any stretch of the imagination.

If you flipped Snit and Showalter I don't think Snit gets any better results with that roster. Our team is extremely talented. Snit is a good father figure for the boys. But still has big managerial weaknesses. Ozuna should have been moved up in the lineup weeks ago and Rosario down.
After this season it’s 2/$32. Not great but I wouldn’t call that “a lot” of risk.
Considering Kenley just got 2 years 32m, I think Iggy at 2 years 32m is at worst market rate.
Go back to the reaction on this board after we traded for him. Most couldn't figure out why we'd take on that entire contract.
It’s not the whole contract anymore. He’s been really good since coming here. Again, 2/$32 after this season is about running rate for relievers of his caliber. I don’t love it, but a 2/$32 contract is hardly very risky.
Relievers are volatile. He's already losing velocity. Sure he's been good for us in less than a full season. But to have picked up that entire contract with 3 1/2 years left on it certainly was a big risk. Especially since hes already 33.
Wasn’t able to watch the game last night unfortunately. How did AJSS look? Sounded a bit uneven?
At his age and being his first start I give him a pass bc of nerves. He hasn’t been pitching as long as others at his age so we’ll see how his next few starts go.
