Walden has 59.1 innings pitched in 1 1/3rd seasons under a manager who tends to overuse his best relievers. He was unreliable at the most important time which was the playoffs last year too. Carpenter had to pitch the 8th and we know how that ended. Our pen has been fluky good the last few years and I am used to it now. We need like 5 relievers with a sub 3 ERA and atleast one with a sub 1 ERA.

I based my opinion on defensive runs saved last year. Goldy was the superior player. We'll see how the year plays out but he at least has range and Freddie doesn't.
