GDT #68. 6/15. Angels(H. Santiago) @ Braves(M. Minor) ESPN

Holy sh1t!!! Look what happens when you don't swing at a pitch out of the strike zone!! You fckn walk!! Omg!!

When was the last time Minor did "have it?" Last we saw, he was giving up eight runs in four innings in Colorado. He's proving tonight that he may be able to do the same thing at sea level.

Ok, I"m not trying to be a dick, but Atlanta is 1000 feet above sea level.

Minor made a bad pitch to Aybar and Trout is just the best player in baseball, normally you can pitch righties there like Minor did and not get smoked, so 1 bad pitch and one great hitter.

Yeah Atlanta is the third highest stadium in elevation I believe.

Minor gives up homeruns at an alarming rate. Coming into tonight 7 HR allowed in 48 IP.

I'm a minor fan, but he looks bad tonight imo. Not a ton of movement, control isn't really there, ball isn't exploding out of his hand. I think minor will be fine and is the pitcher he was last year, but he looks like dog crap tonight.

Bottom line is Minor's pitching to a pinball ERA right now whether it's in Colorado or Atlanta. Maybe that "altitude" in Atlanta will benefit the Braves' bats...or not.
