He took the first and his best pitch to hit his previous AB though. I guess he was like, well that didn't work so back to swinging at first pitch if he likes it. It was a good pitch to hit too and he scorched it. Just hit right into pitchers glove on a line.

Very impressive performance today by Minor on the mound and hitting. He had a run go against him on Reed Johnson misplay, had West squeeze him off and on since 1st inning. High pitch count early, but he settled down and has pitched a gem.
