This isn’t a Braves vs Nats thing. It’s Nats vs Cubs. I wouldn’t say it’s stupid to prefer going against Lester, Hamels, and Darvish than Scherzer, Stras, and Corbin in a 5 game series.

I like our chances against anybody in the playoffs. We have a good team and because baseball is random.

I don’t know if that would be the Cubs rotation but I’d rather take down the Gnats and have home field against the winner of Cubs/Dodgers

Pache isn't coming up unless he's playing everyday, and I was thinking the guy they acquire would be more of a 4th OFer.

Pache has over 450 PAs at AA (and would be at 500+ by the end of July), so it wouldn't be unprecedented to call him up if they think he's the best everyday option in CF.

How about September call up? I assume we have to add him to the 40 man roster this offseason anyways. The playoff roster rules are a joke so we could still add him if he does well.
