GDT 7/14: Diamondbacks at Braves

This year newcomb starts throwing changup, and his k rate has gone down. Is this a coicidence? Is he throwing the changup too much?
 
Ump expanded the zone down again on this strike call to Goldy, then expanded down and away for strike 2.

Where are the complaints about the ump haha?

Greinke has gotten several calls that were outside according to box. Up and down on the box isn't that accurate according to some braves' analytic guy I listened to on the radio a month or so ago
 
I'll be honest, I was hoping a couple men got on so Newcomb would be lifted.

But nope. Sad thing is the approach was good that inning. Greinke fell behind to seemingly everyone but nothing even close to good contact.

I’m just pointing out the hypocrisy.

When bad calls screw the Braves folks complain about the umps.

When bad calls help the Braves folks say the ump has been screwing both sides, or the data isn’t accurate lol.

I don’t expect you to admit to it tho.

Everyone was hoping to get a couple men on, but I think everyone else's reason was to score, not pull newcomb. You really hate newcomb, huh? lol

Greinke has consistently gotten outside pitching according to that box all day. You only complained though bc you wanted newcomb to get beat up that inning and pat yourself on the back
