GDT 7/16/22: Braves @ Gnats - Day off for Ronnie

I’m really surprised that we’re sticking with Strider tomorrow. Seemed like a great time to skip Muller’s start in Gwinnett a few days ago and give him a spot start, then start Strider in the fifth game after the break.

We’re going to have to find a way to limit his innings some, and this seemed like an easy way to do it.

I’m not real sure they are going to limit strider’s innings too much…. Otherwise they might have gone with a six man already? And for the experts - I understand if a team isn’t in contention maybe shutting down a pitcher for the year - but do contenders do this as well? I really can’t think of an example- other than Strasburg when he first came up….

Still are. Their luck is truly insane.

They're 9-1 in these Manfred ball games. And should have probably lost both games on Saturday. Even if we dont catch them, there's no way in hell they're beating the Dodgers in a series if LA is healthy. Mets are a good team, but they get like every damn break, it's maddening.
