Honestly this has 2011 written all over it again. Failure after failure to pull away. There is no guarantee we would even get one of the play in spots because the Central could have three teams. Now for those idiots who can't understand what I am saying. I will say I am not counting us out at all, but to continue to play mediocre and not pad the lead when we have an awesome chance is a recipe for disaster.
 
Bad luck and hitting bullets right at people is all a part of the game. Sometimes there's a disproportionate amount of those for a team. But what we can control is not trying to hit a freaking 500-foot home run every swing (Simmons) and start being a little smarter.

I sadly agree with this, we should probably have a 9-10 game lead.

Lot of games we should of won but that's baseball.

Today's game sucked since could of added ground on both Wsh and Phi.

And Uggla being absolutely worthless in key situations. I don't care about the HRs, he needs to go. He has to have the absolutely least productive outs I've ever seen from anyone. He is beyond a bad a baseball player.

I want what you're one cuz you're full of **** if you think this.
 
Uggla (and others) don't shorten their swing and try to whatever it takes to score a run. They swing for the fences and wait for that pitch to drive out. This leads to strikeouts (uggla) and weak popouts (Simmons).

Did you think the Giants would win th WS entering th playoffs last year?

For the record I don't think we go far even if we get in but the playoffs are a crapshoot.
 
And it isn't going to magically get better without some adjustments. Different plate approaches from some guys being the main thing. I saw someone above mention Fredi and the coaching staff. I've criticized him a lot, but he is what he is. That part isn't going to change until he's gone, or someone in upper management puts a fire in his ass. So I'm trying my best not to complain about him anymore because it isn't worth it.

You should grow up and not get personal with someone you don't know just because you were called out for being a huge, whining baby.
So because I understand baseball and how teams function, my life sucks with that accounting degree I'm about to earn. Grow up and stop being an overly emotional child on a message board.

Ok well the team needs to play better ball.

It certainly sucks to not be able to add to the lead today, and yes today was pretty unlucky. Reed and Mac both hit bullets with the bases loaded, no runs.
