I'm still not sold on him at the plate, but the glove is legitimate.

The way I see it if we are going to have bad hitting they might as well be good defensive players.

It happens. He's young. If Newcombe and Folty can be aces some nights and on their bad nights give you 5 ip, 4 walks, 5 ks, 3 runs.....then you're pretty dang good.

Would you trade Inciarte for Confronto? Mets need CF and seem to think he's a platoon player....I doubt the Mets would do the deal, but you never know...

Good question. Inciarte is significantly better imo. But Conforto has an extra year of control. I'd say no to a one-for-one but its a fairly close call.

I should have said first that I agree he pitched well for Coors field. He just didn't find the strike zone enough.

I think Confronto can really hit. I think the Mets have jerked him around. I'd love to play him in LF for an entire year and see if I'm right. I think worst case scenario he's a platoon guy, but in that case Confronto + D Peterson could be a really good platoon.

I'd miss Ender. But I'd rather have Confronto Mallex than Mallex Ender. Not sure about how I feel about Trumbo Mallex Ender
