This season is going to be defined by hot streaks. 60 games simply isn't enough for things to stabilize, so all predictive models are nearly useless.
The soonest we can analyze anything is ~100 PAs, at which point the season will be half over. Then that analysis will be rendered useless because the next 30 games won't be long enough to bear out the decisions in any significant way.
For Riley it's all about his O-Swing% and Z-Contact%. If he makes progress in those areas, regardless of his overall results, the Braves have to stick with him the entire year. If he is still struggling in those areas, the Braves will have to make a move at 3B assuming they are still in contention.
