Riley's numbers were down 3 straight seasons when the injury happened last season.

I really hope I'm wrong, but at this point, this same group hitting again is more hope than based on anything we're actually seeing. Again, this group has been terrible since last may, and that includes when they were all healthy. Acuna came back this season to put us basically 90% with positional guys, and they actually got worse with him. This group is broken
 
maybe Baldwin can hit with a position player throwing and knock one out.. otherwise this is a horrible day... except for lottery position.

Oh dear lord, he dropped from 5.9 fWAR to 5.1 fWAR (the same he had in 2021)! The horror! Then he had a year he broke his wrist. Come on man.
 
can the team get Baldwin one more AB... going to need a few more baserunners..

Pirates are winning.. the gNats lost already.. pulling for the O's tonight.. creeping towards the bottom 3..

All his offensive numbers have been dropping since he peaked in 2022. Last year and this year, he was/is on a 3.4 fWAR pace. That's still certainly good, but he's most likely down as the 5 win monster

And the A's need to win too. Only 2 games ahead of them.

Man, you guys forget quickly... i said he wasn't pitching well today, and you argued. FIP for this game is important in that argument
