This is not good. This sucks. It was an accident a freakish accident.
 
Shame to lose Huddy. Hopefully the injury isn't too bad and he'll be back in a month or so but I'm not counting on it. At least we have Beachy coming back.
 
That was ugly. Really, really ugly. I'm hoping it's just a broken ankle. That will heal quicker and with less future effects than if things are torn or even badly sprained.

Nice to see Eric Young go straight to check on Tim then stand off to the side with his cross necklace praying for him. Good guy.
 
Freeman probably feels like crap because he botched that groundball. That would've been him throwing it to second for the DP.
 
He's made two incredible starts since the break, getting into the eighth inning. Tonight is as good as I've seen him look in a while. Terrific movement, just rotten luck.

Eric Young stepped on the side of Hudson leg with his first on first, and his ankle collapsed sideways. No one's fault...Hudson had has leg on the home plate side of the bag and Young couldn't avoid it...Hudson being carted off.

That was brutal. Young is a quality young man.
 
Not to sound like a dick, but the silver lining if any in this, is that Hudson may have ot take a lesser contract coming off the injury.

I was just wondering about his contract situation. This is Huddy's last year under contract, right? We may have just seen his last pitch as a Brave if so.
