GDT 7/24/14 Braves (Harang) vs Marlins (Alvarez); 7:10 ET

We can't beat any of the ****ty teams in the NL East aside from Philly, and even they swept us at home. It's strange. We seem to have no problem beating the rest of the ****ty teams in the NL.

If CK wouldnt allow so many men on things like this wouldnt happen. Sorry but CK has not been the same CK as years past. Every game he has men all over the place and full count on every hitter. I really wish we had traded him this off season when his value was the highest it would ever be like as some had suggested.

He gave up ONE hit.

If Gattis blocks the pitch to Ozuna, the game is still going on.

Secondly, what do you trade Kimbrel for?

The market for RP's, even as good as Kimbrel isnt that great.

None of what you said is true. Stop posting.

Complete nonsense. Kimbrel has a WHIP under 1.

Not bashing at all. All I said is he is not the same pitcher as previous years and all the stats bear that out, so how is what I said not true. Not sure what games you have been watching but there always seems to be someone on base and him pitching behind in the count. If you can't tell he isn't the same as the last few years we must be watching different games.

The Gattis and Kimbrel bashing in this thread is both laughable and really idiotic. Goodnight.

The bashing is much, yes , but let's not act like he isn't known for being a defensive liability. How are our pitchers supposed to have confidence in throwing anything in the dirt in pressure situations like tonight? It may not happen all the time, but anytime it costs you a game, it's not good. He will be alright thought.

If someone other than Justin and Johnson had decided to play offense, his mistake wouldn't have mattered. That's what cost us the game.

His WHIP is barely below 1 also he has 17 walks already this year last year he had 20 and the year before 14 for the entire season. So again all I said is he isn't the same pitcher and we could have traded him when his stock was sky high and higher than it would ever be.

He is walking a few more, but he is giving up less HRs and hits. Dude is having another incredible year. The fact that you even wrote, "his WHIP is barely below 1," should show you how ridiculous you are being. You know how many other regulars have a WHIP below 1? 0.

He was 3-4, calm your horses.

Cishek owns us, typical Braves choke, not in Octobor though if they make it that far.

My comment was out of frustration, but sometimes you gotta be 4-for-4.

What a great performance from the Braves this week. Can't wait for more of the same vs. the Padres.

With any kind of lead in the. 9th, I want no1 else in the league on the mound other than him. Trading him was never or will never be an option.

On the bright side, Harang continues to look great and Johnson is starting to flex. Good news there.
