GDT 7/24- JULIO TAKES THE HILL.... ENDER IN CF....

I do find it a bit amusing that the same folks claiming the Nats were dead in July are the same ones worried to death now that the Braves have hit a rough patch.

Are we starting to see how silly those comments were?

Not really scared of the Nats. The Dodgers...yes. I feel we are pretty firmly the second best team in the NL.

That’s that Mississippi education at work.

I'd think merrifield would be crazy expensive. He was at 5.2 fWAR last season and he's at 2.8 so far this season. He's got 4 more years at 16.25 million

He wouldn’t be cheap, but I think if the Royals demand Anderson, Pache, or Waters they’re stupid.

The Braves have been pretty lucky this year. By 2nd and 3rd order wins the Braves and Nats are virtually even, and I would expect the rest of the season to play out as if they were.

It doesn’t help that we have two bad hitters hitting 7th and 8th tonight. Along with the pitcher’s spot, that’s three easy outs consecutively until we start pinch hitting.
