I read where Fredi wasn't thrilled with how Simmons was treating things like getting the runner over, and letting BJ find a chance to swipe a bag in the 2 hole. He wanted a guy more in control of the AB than Simmons and his free swinging. Thus TLS so I'd imagine he'd get a longer look this time around.

It's been really bad this year. We have always had pitchers that could at least get the sac down.
 
It's apparently a game of millimeters on that review play. As close as it gets. But in the end it doesn't matter. Freeman singles him in anyway.
