It’s really frustrating. This team isn’t good and doesn’t really have much of a chance to do anything the rest of the year — then you’ve got a thin starting pitching market and many contenders wanting starters. And we have one of the best who could be available.

Such a no brainer opportunity for a quick reset to build up a farm system that’s thinning out in a hurry, and we won’t do it.
 
As an admitted dinosaur, I have to admit I still kinda miss going for the sac bunt with runners on first and second with no outs. Yeah, I know, the analytics...

Maybe you can still trade smyly for a piece with Ynoa sliding back into the rotation. If the market is super tight then maybe smyly becomes plan C for a team.
 
Excited Chip, "HI FLY BALL BY OZZIE!" on a fly ball that drops into a fielder's glove 15 feet short of the warning track. Yeah, I know he's watching the broadcast from Atlanta but it still drives me crazy.
