If we lose this game I might join the Legion of doom. We can't seriously get shut down by Jason Lane can we? Has Gwinn etc faced him this year? Considering his near 5 Era at AAA maybe they should have called up the AAA team.

Lane is the type of pitcher the Braves struggle with. Their approach doesn't work against a guy who throws like this. You need to be patient and he will give you something to hit. Being ultra aggressive is not the recipe for success.

Simmons made a spectacular play on a ball with a lot of english on it. Took a bad hop and he had to bare hand it. Kind of like Ozzie Smith's famous play, but without the dive.
