Anytime they show Walt Weiss, can't help but to think about that remarkable play in the postseason against the Astros
I don't intentionally walk anyone with no one on in the second inning. Then of course the pitcher bunts and a runner is in scoring position for the top of the order.
The pitcher cannot bunt with two outs. The object is to get the 8th hole hitter. If you do the inning is basically over unless a good hitting pitcher. De La Rosa is a bad hitting pitcher though. I was keeping that in mind.
Joe's been reading my posts.
I was thinking he was the 8 hole hitter but still my opinion remains. You don't give away base runners with no one on and less than 2 outs
Plunk. BJ catches that.
Well, Beachy clearly wasn't ready to return but Heyward usually catches that ball.
I figured as much, but I think you're now just being stubborn.
Beachy still needs to give us another inning or two. Those kinds of things get overlooked but really help the team.
