They're also a pretty injury prone team. They have their weaknesses, which is why they haven't run away with anything. Anyone has a shot against anyone in a short series. Well, any non-terrible team.

Sure anyone has a shot, but the Dodgers would be heavy favorites against anybody and rightfully so. There isn't a team in the NL that can even come close to their starters in a playoff series.

The Dodgers have the great equalizer sitting on their bench. Donnie Baseball would have this Braves team DFL in the east right now, and that's not a commentary on the genius that is Fredi/Gerald either.

They have every big name in the NL outside of their leadoff hitter and that doucher that catches...Kinda pathetic to say the least...If they were just dominating baseball I would seriously not even watch because its completely unfair..

You never know if any team will get hot, especially in a short series.
This makes me think about playoff structure. I wonder if they'd ever look in to doing like 4 team, round robin type playoffs. 12 games for round 1 in each league:
1 V 4 (3 games)
2 V 3 (3)
1 V 3 (3)
2 V 4 (3)
In each league, with each team getting a day off somewhere in there. It would give a more appropriate display of the teams as a whole. Could it work?

If they stay healthy. They could easily go a little cold for 5 games. It happens all the time. Every year.
It is annoying that they can just buy everyone though. Oh one terrible contract? Ok let's just give someone else a big one and hope this one works out.
