GDT 7/3/19: Wilson on the bump

If you gotta give up a dinger to Harper at least make sure the bases are empty. (Followed up by a double--need to right this ship now.)
 
Three times through the order is tough this young and without great secondary pitches.

This is the best I’ve seen the change up. Still not great and the slider is below avg.

I would not want Wilson going through the order 3x.

He would be a deadly weapon out of the pen going 2 innings 2-3 times a week
 
That's probably it for Wilson. Quality start but was missing over the plate to those last three hitters.
 
Gonna need a few more runs. 3 probably aren’t enough to stop the Phillies since they have our number for whatever reason.
 
I think that is where he ends up.
Not sure how it would work with roster sizes. Doubt the braves are creative enough. But I think the braves have guys who could be nasty 1x through the order twice a week.

Pairing some of those guys could make it really tough to prepare a lineup.

If we had playoffs today I’d go soroka, the beard, then Wilson/newk/Wright. Hopefully get through 7.
