GDT 7/30 Miami at Atlanta

They say to never make the third out of an inning at third base. I know the run scored ahead of the out but I would've liked to have seen Ender have the chance to drive Camargo in from second.
I am not at the ball park but what happen if Washington is calling the play?

Camargo is deadly from the right side. His left side has improved nicely since last year but he's really good from the right.

Some real pop from Johan from that side.

Yea, that is why he should start vs lefties no matter what he is doing vs righties. Not to say he shouldn't start overall. Even if we get Beltre I'd give Beltre plenty of days off at third and still get Camargo in at short. Swanson would be the one that would lose starts for me in that situation, though he would get in most every night we have leads for defense.

Ozzie at short jo-gun at 2nd.

As we’ve been saying for weeks now, Camargo is legit as a RHH. Precisely why intelli Braves want to see a LHH acquired.

Camargo is a utility, or maybe a main starter that you sit against the toughest right handers with someone in house to play there.

NOW, if he could figure out how to hit on LHH side outside of up and away pitches, because his swing is UGLY on that side unless the pitch is there, then that turns around quickly, but that's relying on the 15% outcome.

I'm not sure if I can dig it up myself, but Camargo has a .636 OPS since June against RHP. He's probably a .250/.300/.350 guy on that end and unless you're a basher team with a bunch of bashers already, that should be in a soft platoon (but unfortunately it's against the main pitcher you'll see).

Edit: It'd be interesting if he was another case where the Braves told him to switch hit since he wasn't exactly a big profile signee from Panama. It worked for Albies, but it's not exactly working for him.
