BJ's deal won't affect Mac.

We can afford Mac but not at 16-20 million per year which he may get elsewhere.

Whether it does or not it was a mistake IMO. I am not saying we cannot re-sign Mac. All things considered, I just don't see us doing so at this point.

Matt Moore on the DL with Elbow soreness for Tampa.

I really hope that's nothing major. Would be a huge blow to their rotation.

I'm watching this on the Rockies' network. Their announcers are pretty in awe of Freeman. They talk about Freddie like he's Ctulhu.

I disagree, we overpayed either way IMO. I don't hate the BJ signing like Matt, but I agree with his main points for most part.

Overpaid compared to what though? The market sets the value and we paid it. If he has a typical BJ year(s) his contract would of paid for itself.
