GDT 7/4 offense will explode tonight

This isnt on AA or Snit. Losing your best hitter and best SP before the first 3 months of the season is up is a hard mountain to climb. These guys set records last year with almost the same group as we have now and they have fallen flat on their faces. All of them. The offense as a whole is to blame. I feel bad for the pitching bc for the most part they keep us in every game. We need another SS and a good hitting OF. Harris is coming back soon so that should help.

AA acquired another SS - David fletcher. We're paying him 6 million this season and 6 next season. Now we have hardly any money before hitting the next luxury tax threshold, and fletcher is pitching and hitting .570 ops at AA, so yeah, aa can be blamed

So Fletcher is why AA is being blamed? Lol come on. If Fletcher was that good he wouldnt be pitching. AA will make moves at the deadline just like he always does. The offense falling on his face isnt on AA its on the players themselves.

Team is just missing leaders. FF/swanson/joc as players were team leaders and I think made a huge difference. Then guys like Washington did take a leadership role with players and actually coached. This team is talented but there is literally no one that holds accountability or even try’s to motivate. It is just show up and see what happens. To me that is the most embarrassing part of the last three years. It has compounded into a disastrous season this year.

Need to get Tommy Pham to break up the country club locker room. Ruffle some feathers

Hard agree, and I think Snit has gotten complacent. This team is missing the everyday player equivalent of Sale. And so we're going to watch guys on this team goofing around with the Phillies in between pitches like they're best buds. We need killers.

Just based on speculation, but Wash and EY seemed like the guys to fire the players up and work with them whereas Snit and Weiss seem like the types to just throw the balls out there and let the guys do their own workouts.

Just a thought

If Ozuna continues to fade (let's say below a .750 OPS as MSState suggests), should the Braves decline his 16 million player option? Then let Ronald be the DH for a year to keep him off his legs. The Braves would then need to sign or trade for an OF.

It's just a quick thought, but I see the Braves (at this point) picking up Ozuna's option because there will be other major holes to fill in the offseason such as at least 2 starting pitcher spots, a couple of bullpen slots, possibly SS, and this is the year AA needs to spend to build depth on the bench after what we've seen this year.

All of our problems have been solved... Wall down... Eli White up lol... let's please make a real move or two here

I agree with everybody here. The team is flat and there seems to be nobody holding anynody accountable. If this season does end badly and we miss the playoffs for some reason or get another 1st round exit then somebody will have to pay the price and that will probably be Snit.

I don't think they'll fire Snit in a year when Strider and Acuña were lost. Seitzer will be the first casualty, maybe before the end of the year.
