GDT 7/7/14: BRAVES (Minor) @ LetsGOes (Dice-K)

I didn't see the game, I decided to burn my eyes and watch the trash that was Transformers: Age of Extinction but I see that Avilan came in for no reason during the ninth while Shae Simmons was used in the ninth...

We had a 3-2 lead and Avilan was the eighth inning man. Why?

Also, Transformers was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. So glad I didn't have to pay to see it.
 
Not all Fredi's fault, although Walden in the 8th might have won the game but i reckon we will never know.

Also had chances early in the game to add some more runs and didnt.
 
I hope this team isn't about to start a streak the opposite way. I sure would hate to undo all the good work they did during the 9-game winning streak. Maybe tomorrow we'll actually use our setup man in the 8th inning and not Avilan.

I agree with this to a degree, playing with one less player than everyone else.

So I tried to come up with an explanation that made sense. But turns out the umpires & replay folks were simply embarrassingly incompetent.

I'm wondering why Timmons never got his name legally changed, instead of going with the name his meth tweaking parents burdened him with.
