I think it’s going to come down what the corner OF market looks like this winter. I would just as soon sign JD for 2 yrs 40 m and keep Riley in LF.

Yeah it'd be amazing if we could just keep Donaldson on a 1 year deal, evaluate his play next year, and make the same decision of whether or not to offer him a 1 year deal the next year. I don't want to commit anything longer than that, but I wouldn't mind running him back out there until it looks his decline may be steepening

I'm surprised he is in there today. I know Camargo has been abysmal, but that's no reason to rush Dansby back with a nice rest ahead. Should've just played Culberson and had Dansby available off the bench (at most).
 
Probably should have been resting Swanson more regularly throughout the year rather than waiting to rest him after an issue cropped up.

I’ve been told that idea is wrong by some very smart baseball minds here though. Luckily, the Braves FO agrees with the idea that its smart to utilize the deep roster they built and instructed Snit accordingly the day after we railed on him about it. Too bad it happened a week or so too late for the Swansonator.
