GDT 7-8-14: Braves (Teheran) at Mets (DeGrom)

Wtf is going on Julio was supposed to stop the 2 game skid now we have to rely on Santana and harang to split
 
No Gavin hurts so much. I said before the year that I thought he'd be a 10-15 game winner with an era around 2.70. The era may of been accurate. Losing him hurts a lot.
 
I'm going to the game on Thursday and I'll have to listen to stupid Mets fans tell me the Braves suck.

our pitching isn't great, but its good enough to win with. Can't say the same about our hitting. We've got too many guys who can be pitched to, and nothing on the bench any better.

CJ is a toxic mix of no speed, no HR's no RBI's and way to many K's.
 
Well nice to know after the streak is over that nothing has changed this team is utterly dependant on it's starting pitching if we have a bad start the damn offense produces nothing so it looks real ugly. If our starters allow 3 runs or less we have a chance more then that ... We get tonight... Julio is the one pitcher that I would think this might happen to...

Well this kid has good stuff. DeGrom is very tough. It's the getting our **** pushed in by the likes of Wade Butthole Miley is what urks me

Losing to Miley I understand the streak had to eventually stop my problem was the. 8th inning last night we have just gotten the lead and who do we throw walden no Simmons no freaking avilan and then walden is used for one freakin batter
 
During the winning streak, our offense did a good job of situational hitting, going the other way, and manufacturing a few runs. That led me to believe we'd turned our pathetic, home run dependent offense around. Looks like that optimism was premature.
 
Pretty bad when a pitcher has 10ks and only 63 pitches. I didn't panic when we didn't score of dice-k but now it looks like it's back to being the norm.. DeGrom is good Wiley and dice-k are not.., all I know is the good Santana better show up tommorow
 
Again. I don't like our chances in this series because of the road and the Mets' butt fckn luck.
