looked like the bursa outside of the elbow, very easily gets inflamed and swollen, yes I am a doctor

and you drain the fluid. Problem is it often keeps coming back and you have to remove the bursa. Not a real big deal if that's what it is.

Wood was already sent to AAA to stretch his arm for starting. He's made two starts down there and given up one run in 8.2 innings. 8 K's.
