Could have gone with BJ outta the 2 hole, but whateves. Let's take the series over these ass clowns.

ATL 38 35

WSN 37 35 0.5

MIA 37 36 1.0

PHI 34 38 3.5

NYM 33 41 5.5

Fredi messing with us by batting the Lesser Upton second and the Greater Upton sixth.

Expecting a huge game from the guy with tired knees.

I know Justin has been cold lately. However BJ has been cold for over nearly 230 games and had isn't cemented in the two hole.

You would BJ was the Upton that has been a good Brave. WOW. Fredi has really lost it.

Spelling mistake?

I like the lineup minus BJ 2nd, and JUp 6th.

Other than that, it's as good as we can ask for.

If they are gonna have Tommy leadoff then TLS, JUp, FF, Gattis, Heyward, BJ/CJ, Simmons, P is our best lineup.

Fredi probably gets way to much flack but it's things like this that make people say, wow, this guy is a ****ing idiot.

It's this very reason why he gets flack. He has trotted this bum out there in the same spot in the lineup for nearly three months. His batting average has never once resembled a major leaguer.

I understand the arguments about "lengthening the lineup" but this is just insanity. BJ cannot be getting the second most AB's on our team. In no universe does that make sense.

Even as someone who has defended BJ, there is no reason he should be 2nd, and JUp 6th.

The Nats shouldnt bother throwing JUp anything in the strikezone with who is behind him.

Fredi/managers get too much hate imo, they dont have THAT much of an impact on the games.

That being said, no reason BJ should be 2nd, and JUp 6th, none at all.

Why?

Johnson is 13 for his 35 and hitting about .372 in that time span...He is the VERY LEAST of our problems right now...He is swinging a really good bat right now..

I remember back at the end of spring thinking BJ at 2. Wow, that won't last 2 weeks as bad as he is. He's been terrible and still there 3 fing months later. That is just insane.

If you're the Nats, i take my chances with CJ over JUp, period despite CJ hitting better as of late.

JMO.

I really try not to bash Freddi and care too much about lineups construction but BJ really has no place in the #2 hole with Justin #6. At least Schaffer is out of the lineup.

This would be really close to our best possible lineup if Fredi moved Justin up to #2. Just crazy not to.
