Yup, virtually all the SS options we discussed as replacements for Dansby have been terrible. Adames, Rosario, Turner, Correa, Andrus, etc. All terrible.

Yep, maybe AA knows what he's doing. Pretty much all of us wanted someone big-time at SS, and he just takes it easy. Also Arcia might be on the best contract in baseball, for the production/value he brings.

Murphy sitting again... Ozuna DH. Not gonna lie, i'm fine with resting Murphy's knees but can we at least have his bat in the lineup some of the time when he's out. It's hard for him to get in a rhythm when he sits every other game, and isnt hitting.

I'm fine sitting him. Let him rest so he has something in the tank in October. He can work out his batting issues in the cages on his offdays.

He's not been good since the break but he's also been really unlucky. His BABIP since the break is .143.

I have no idea if it's legal by the rules but I'm shocked the MLBPA hasn't complained at how loosely AA uses the injured list for roster manipulation.

I'm also pretty shocked not once have we ever heard a player come out after the fact and say they were forced to take a DL trip.

You'd think though players would contend it hurts their future value on the free agency market. If they're considered injury prone becayse of too many phantom DL stints.

I'm sure AA has to collude with their agent on the phantom DL stint. Just surprised it never leaks.
