GDT 8-1: Braves at Reds; Marcell's 5th Straight Game

Ozuna gettin’ hot….. let the big bear eat…. We gotta score ten runs a game …. And as you said, Murphy’s knees need a day off today for sure
 
This was my biggest problem with keeping Ozuna. We'll be fine without the low level prospect he would've brought back. But Snit is going to continue to play him, and while him playing over Murphy isn't a huge deal for the future, he has also gotten starts over Baldwin this week and is going to continue eating into his ROY chances. Somehow Snit has decided this week that Ozuna is the one that absolutely has to be in the lineup over Baldwin/Murphy.
 
At this point, might as well protect Murphy as much as we can so he can maintain his trade value for the off-season. The last thing we need is for a major injury to Murphy or a 3-32 spell and have his OPS drop 100 points.

Although, I have zero confidence AA will actually do the smart thing and trade Murphy like we should. I'm sure we'll get the same BS explanation, even though Murphy is a depreciating asset that could fall off a cliff production wise at any moment.

What I want to see the rest of the year:
1. Drake get to 18ish HR and 70 RBI and win Rookie of the Year; Plays 5-6 games per week at both C and DH
2. Braves be in the draft lottery and have a legitimate shot to win the top pick
3. Strider, Sale, Schwellenbach, and Acuna end the year healthy
4. Snit gone and outside hire made (NO WALT WEISS or Eddie Perez or milquetoast "Braves' Way" person related to Cox or JS)
5. Spend wildly and free in November
 
My fandom is really coming into play here. I am pissed at White and Allen for blowing that opportunity, but I don't want the Braves to win too much the last two months.
