Probably to protect his clock. Hopefully AA doesnt re-sign Flowers this winter. A TDA/Contreras platoon sounds amazing.

He had a .325 BABIP last year and hit .229 with a 34% K rate.
He is one of the worst catchers in the big leagues.

Touki always worries me. He can be cruising and then **** hits the fan and a big number gets posted. He usually gives up runs in bunches or none at all.
You can pretty much say the same thing for all of our starters not named Soroka or Fried.
