BABIP gods tried to come for Jackson again, but luckily the base runner was a moron and Acuna nailed him.

The amount of bad luck coming out of this BP is truly remarkable. When they aren't walking guys they are giving up dunks and bleeders.
 
I was thinking of making the drive to Smyrna next Saturday to watch dodgers' game, but jeez... tix are crazy high on ticketmaster. I bet it's gonna be a mad house
 
It’ really just came down to the fact that the Marlins had just come off a horrible series where they were swept by the Mets. Yes we helped them, but they were due to play well...just bad timing as much as anything.
 
I know we're all disappointed to split with the Marlins. But all in all it was a successful road trip, all things considered. We ended up 4-3 including 2 of 3 vs one of the best teams in the league. Considering the total meltdown our bullpen and Keuchal had and we're playing without Markakis and Swanson, can't be too upset.
 
The only thing that I don’t like about the Phillies being in 4th place is that it may cause Gabe Kapler to lose his job. I think he should get a contract extension
