GDT 8/12/24 Braves @ Giants - Nowhere to go but up

Even if we get it to extras, pitching is cashed and Murphy, kelenic, and duvall up. Such a disappointing team. Someone's head should roll for this season

Did some research and the Braves are the first team ever to win a game 1-0 the night after blowing a 6 run lead while having a manger with an iq less than 60. Pretty cool.
 
Man, Chris Sale has been unreal. I mean, he’s the betting favorite for the NL Cy Young. Sale is leading the NL in fWAR (by a mile), second in bWAR, and tops the league in ERA, wins, W-L%, K/9, adjusted ERA, FIP, and a slew of other stats.

Really hope he stays healthy and can take the CYA. Would cement his HOF status.

As a side note, BR needs to seriously tweak their pitching War calculations with Hunter Greene having a .6 lead over Sale currently. Sale leads Greene in every single category (some of them commandingly) aside from H/9 and having 1 and 2/3 less innings pitched. I am not biggest FIP guy when it comes to placing WAR value on current performance, but a 1.32 difference in FIP is incredibly significant..
