If we can't play better than 2 games than the Mets down the stretch the team doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs.

We need the Dbacks and Padres to start losing. I’m not worried about the Mets or anybody behind us in the WC to be honest.

It will be interesting to see who goes today between White, Duvall and Laureano. I’d DFA Duvall since he has also been bad vs lefties recently. Duvall may be a tougher DFA than Eddie since he has more history here with the basic fan.

The Phillies are 7-16 with a -25 RD since the All-Star Break. Their inconsistencies started a week or two before the break but have gotten way worse. We all knew they'd regress at some point, but this is wild.

I called it for awhile. Unfortunately we have barely been better than that. Had we handled business vs MIA and COL and at least won those series (if not swept), we'd be between 1-4 games back right now, with another easy series in LAA before getting Philly at home.

Doesn't matter at this point. A 3 game series agasint any of the Dbacks, Padres, and Brewers is all the same.

I wonder what happened to the Ks though.

Last 30 days he has struck out almost 40% of batters faced. He started slow and has been making it up since and his k/9 is almost back to 1 per inning. He isnt stiking out a lot of hitters but he also isnt facing a lot of hitters. Everything batters hit turns into outs and he doesnt walk people so thats less batters he gets the chance to strike out. Last 30 days he has a .27 WHIP. Thats ridiculous. His BABIP is crazy. Last 30 days he has a .095 BABIP. And its .183 for the season.
