I cannot believe we have to sweat the Dodgers right now. I'm not sure how they do it because the roster is pretty mid this season, but those dudes keep on winning.

If he finishes at .280 with 55 HRs and 140+ RBIs, that is one of the best offensives seasons a Braves player has had. And he still won't be MVP.
What about 60 hr and 150 rbi?

Serious comment. Why does twit bring in Collin in high leverage situations and not just start of a clean inning. Bases loaded seems to require a higher leverage guy. Then use Collin to cover two

But only one gets replaced. Winas, I assume, was sent down and can’t be back for 15 days.
Winas was the 27th man for the double header. Not sure if he's bound to that 15 day limit.

yeah, I wondered about that.. I bet the in year option wasn't burned either. If that is the case, then I would most definitely put Winas in Cheerios spot next rotation.. or even better bump Strider back a day and have him go that day since both would be their normal rest. I would want to start auditioning guys for pen roles in the playoffs. Not sure I want Cheerios or Collin on the playoff team.
I hope someone also reminds Twit that high leverage doesn't attach to a particular inning.. for the playoffs.

Chirinos should not be on our roster. Probably should have never been on our roster.
I've lost a lot of confidence in McHugh - he's never been a stuff guy and that slider he throws a lot is looking like a cement mixer, just kind of looping middle/middle into the strike zone. No bite, no depth. Definitely would prefer to activate Lee and give McHugh a break and literally any of the four young rotation guys to replace Chirinos. It looks like Soroka's command is returning in Gwinnett, so he'd be my preference.

Mchugh still has some stuff left.. his problem is that he can't get RHH out anymore. He relies on a hitter swinging at balls.. That isn't happening anymore based on his almost double BB rate. This is also making him live in the zone more and that reflects on his luck as well. He was a consistent .260ish BaBip guy when good.. it is 75 points higher. I think Collin has hit the reliever wall and should be filling garbage time with a non contender at this point in his career. It is time for the Braves to move on and make sure he is not a part of this team come playoff time. Soroka/Winas/Wright/Chavez/AJSS... anyone of those guys are better suited to get guys out over Collin at this point.

Why haven't they DFA Cheerios? Man there are better options in the Minors. Soroka, AJSS and Winans.
