GDT 8/14/2013: Phillies @ Braves

I feel like the Dbacks may have a da buyer's remorse.

I'm pretty sure they didn't envision this, but outside of Ahmed (who has had a terrible season), the guys the D-Backs got have all had decent seasons. Drury is having a great season in the Midwest League. Of course, he's repeating a level for all intents and purposes.

That said, big advantage us in that trade to this point.

I agree that Jason is an excellent runner and defender but has been very inconsistent as a batter. Justin has looked bad on ocassion in left but seems to be overall adequate at the position. I just don't think he has the athletism for right.

But Schafer and the Terd have been consistent? I'm not following. Save his worst month of his career (April) and DL'd most of may, he has been very consistent this year and very good last. Please try to look past AVG

Justin Upton didn't win the fielding bible playing RF by accident.

He's limping around a bit too. We still need another infielder at some point. Whether it's a trade or keeping Pastor Or La Stella up when Uggla gets back.

He will be here in September. That wasn't Pastors fault though. He was camped under that ball.

No damage done as long as Pastornicky isn't hurt. The same thing almost happened with Gattis and Simmons last week. They were both going for it and Simmons caught it and Gattis ran into him, but not as hard as Heyward hit Pastornicky.

We are a tough crowd tonight. We have declared Uggla, Pastor, Jason, Justin, BJ, Terdo, Janish, and Schafer to all be not good enough. How is this team winning?:happy0157:

Christian Bethancourt extends his historic on-base streak to 40 games and bolsters his hitting streak to a season-high 16 games. @MBraves

He hit a double
