Apparently so. I guess that would mean he wouldn't feel comfortable with no pitcher in the playoffs. I have more faith in Beachy in the playoffs than I do Medlen and I'm a huge Meds fan.

I agree with Beach doing much better than expected but personally would feel better with Meds especially with how he has looked of late

LaStella jsut a hit a homer in the ninth inning with 2 outs to tie up the game.

If he just had a little more pop he could really be a player.

His curve and change up we're great tonight but his fastball was kind of slow for him. A lot of 87-89 mph fastballs.

I never said it doesn't. But he's steadily gotten a little better control everytime out and a little better feel for his offspeed stuff.

Right now, I am assuming Pastor is down. A sprain and getting it checked on an off-day doesn't bode well. I have to assume LaStella comes up at this point. He is our best option for depth with both Pastor and Uggla out. Start LaStella and have Janish stay in the super-sub role.
