Det did his job. Bases loaded with 1 out and Maybin k'd then markakis popped up. That was where miller not getting win should be blamed

Of course it's about the offense. I was just saying the only hope Miller had at winning a 1-0 game is if he pitched the whole way.

Or do something not by the book like bring in viz with 1st and 3rd with no outs instead of det
 
Miller almost went from a no hitter to a possible loss, thankfully Maybin held on to that ball. Fredi's managing of that inning was terrible once again. You take out Miller after that BS hit because you should know it would effect him (esp. with the already high pitch count). But that is Fredi for you, he's a total moron.

And again, some people, especially our front office, continue to defend him at all cost and refuse to acknowledge his managing sucks and is a problem. Gonna be great in 2017 when Hart's magic carpet ride Braves make the playoffs and Fredi pisses it away again with inept managing.
 
Dude throws a no-hitter for seven innings and can't get a win. This team is literally idiots. Or even more, the manager
 
Given the Braves bad luck/inept offense when Miller starts, it's gotten to the point that I just expect to lose those games. I'd be shocked if we don't find a way to lose this one.
 
Viz has been good at getting DP balls since his return, usually to third or short rather than second though. Good to see him getting so many ground balls in key situations. That along with his ability to strikeout batters could make him a very good closer.
 
While the ump missed what should've been a called third strike on Gomes, at least he missed it several times for Shelby Miller earlier in the game.
