GDT 8/16 - The Thing From Pembroke invades Little Havana

He’s throwing strikes but leaving everything in the zone. I’d have an extremely quick hook tonight because it might get bad really quickly.
 
Touki is going to start doubting his stuff. He has been told it is good enough to throw strikes, and they won't be able to square it up. but they are getting hit....

I hope he realizes that location is still important.
 
You can't let scrub pitchers off the hook like we did in the 1st and expect to win. The game was most likely lost then by not knocking him out

for a ball in play? I wouldn't say it's overly good. I mean just taking the stat at face value it's an out 2 times out of 3.

Duvall's was a little misleading imo. Maybe against standard positioning by the SS that finds a hole but against the shift that seemed like a pretty easy out.
 
Same song, different verse, Touki (1) has no idea where his pitches are gong and (2) he can't finish off hitters having thrown 30 pitches in the inning.
