GDT 8/18/22: Braves vs Mutts - The Crucial Game

I hate moving Grissom off the dirt but I want him in the lineup and with us needing a LF that’s where he’ll have to go. The way the lineup is right now I’d say it’s as deep as any team in baseball and that includes the Dodgers.

Is his arm as average as it has looked so far at second?

If you can migrate through Scherzer, DeGrom, and Diaz…you have a high probability of success…

The Phillies should be kissing our ass now because we burned Scherzer, DeGrom, and injured 2 of their starters. They should have a relative competitive series vs them..

You guys realize we nicked Scherzer and DeGrom for 7 runs in 13 innings? That's a robust 4.84 ERA against The Unhittables.

I watched him at MiS and his arm wasn’t bad. Of course you don’t air it out at 2b but I think he’ll be fine in LF. He has the speed to play out there.

Any normal MLB player has the arm for LF.

I agree with folks suggesting Grissom needs to be the LFer next year, with guys like Rosario and Heredia on the bench to help cover.

Contreras as the main DH, with Arcia and Pina also on the bench is probably the bulk of the roster. Only question is SS.

Just please, don't sign Grossman to a 2 year deal because he got a few hits after the trade.
