GDT 8/18 @ PIT 7:05 ET

bases loaded, no outs... now no runs and three outs. My God they suck.

What makes it even more sickening is that a pitched ball got into the dirt underneath Ramos' glove and the ball hits the umpire to keep it from going to the backstop. Lucky ass Nationals.

don't say that. Apparently they're the best team in the NL. I get a chance to watch them pretty often and they're not that good. This has nothing to do with the Braves, but the Nats aren't. They have good pitching, but that's about it.

CB Bucknor and Laz Diaz are probably tied for biggest prick. Angel may be the most incompetent. Laz is still pretty damn bad, though.

Surprisingly, Bucknor is considered one of the good guys among the umps. He's a crappy ump, but prick? No. Let Angel and Diaz bear that cross.

They have a pretty solid lineup, maybe they're lucky but they keep winning.

I dont know about best in the NL but they're up there, pretty good team.

Not like we're catching them but would be nice if they lost.

Actually, I think we can catch them easily. We just need to whip their ass when we face off. And our schedule is about to get somewhat easier. Very easily done? Hell no- but it can be done. Especially if we keep- you know- scoring runs.

See, pretty good, maybe. But they're highly overrated. That being said, they do keep winning. I can't say much if they are.

We're 6 games back, and 6-7 in the L column.

We're too inconsistent to catch them and only have 2 series left vs them, both in September.

Not impossible sure but pretty unlikely, too many big losing streaks likely ended it.

You say they are soooo much better than us. What is their record against the Braves?

We can go 17-0 vs them, doesnt matter if we lose to other teams.

It's a 162-game season.

The Brewers are 5-1 vs the Dodgers, are they better than them?

I am not holding out a ton of hope, but we have 6 games against them remaining. Win 4 out of 6 and that's 2 games off their lead.

We'd need to win 5 of 6, and would need to sweep one of those series to have a remote slim shot.

Winning 4 of 6 does nothing.
