GDT 8-18: White Sox at Braves

Acuña looks like a guy that took a few weeks off and could’ve used some rehab PAs in the minors.
Yeah- but as others have mentioned, if these games don’t matter, it’s better to get the rehab ABs up here on optimal playing surfaces surrounded by the best medical staffs and observers…. And not playing with and against scrubs

Strider is horrible. There's no way in hell the braves should expect him to be a starter next season.

Might be time to let strider run the season out in the pen. Starting isn’t working right now.
It'll never work again. That brace destroyed his career. It may have been ruined anyway, but one procedure is known, and the other is a total mystery. Just a f'n horrible decision to gamble on it

Hey buddy, you've got to make an honest attempt at pitching well. You can't get pissed and just throw the ball. I love that he wears his heart on his sleeve, but this is because he's frustrated

Just like with Cy’s mom most nights, you are once again very premature.
Maybe I'm wrong. All I know is TJ recovery as we know it results in velocity return as soon as healthy. He doesn't have it. His fastball isn't good at all anymore, and it isn't just the velocity.

He looks to me like he's beginning to realize that his elite stuff is likely gone forever.
Idiot bet his career on an experimental procedure. He will be blasting that procedure soon, trying to keep others from ruining their careers

Dude it's his second UCL injury....I think it has more to do with that than the brace procedure.
