GDT 8/19/15 @SD Teheran vs Ross; Welcome back FF

I'm surprised you enjoy following something you resent so much. Seems rather miserable IMO.

I think when a favorite team dismantles a young talented group of players - many of which were fan favorites - the fans have a right to be annoyed.

The homers on this board seem to think we shouldn't be annoyed.

But if it matters to you, I have stopped watching most nights... I keep up to check in on individual players. But the front office has told me I don't need to pay much attention until 2017

You have the right to do what you would like. I don't really care. I'm just making the point that your interest seems to have piqued up as a defender of truth objectivity, striking down irrational fandom.

Whether you are watching every night or not you are paying attention as much as ever. It's the very reason GM's don't really mind rebuilding for a couple of seasons.

It's understandable to have a different opinion or to at least dislike watching a crap product on the field.

But it's not as though they did it just to do it, or to save money, etc. There's a pretty clear strategy behind it, and it was done with the singular goal of benefiting the organization long-term. So again, you can disagree, and that's fine. But I don't think anyone should trash the FO until we know the results.

I was 100% behind hart till fredi was extended. Then we held AJ for some reason and I'm still very much in doubt about the Olivera trade. I don't understand why Bethancourt isn't getting a shot. Trying to be patient...

I'm not sure why it's so important to bring CB up at this point. This is not his "shot". He will have an opportunity here, I feel confident, to prove himself. In all likelihood, there is a good reason to keep him down right now. It's development. There's no reason to bounce him right back up to the big team at the first sign of success if the purpose of sending him down is still being addressed. Player development. He's only 23.

Really glad to see Teheran look on his game the last month!

Not just that, but a good start on the road. I dont know what it is but he is Cy Young at home and Dan Kolb on the road. Maybe we should start manipulating his starts to be at home and just use someone else if we have to on the road. Shouldnt be hard to find someone who can do better than a 6.32 ERA on the road.

2 good road starts in a row. Hopefully Julio is back.

Braves are 29th in runs (4 away from being last). But they are first in fewest strikeouts!

I'd say that theory has been officially proven as a fact

I didn't realize we had the lowest strikeout rate in the National League. That's very impressive. And the Cubs have the highest! How can it be they have scored 38 runs more than we have. I find that bizarre and inexplicable.
