It’s far and away the worst division in the national league. I don’t understand what the issue is with telling the truth.

It’s the implication. You’re right that it’s the “least good” division of the NL this year, but it’s not a bad division. Having 3 teams above .500 and all with positive RD isn’t exactly common in most years.
