Freeman got a hit and it was a homer after three games hitless and one dp into this game, hopefully he gets hot this series.
 
****ing Donaldson is up to a .920 OPS. He’d be an MVP candidate in most years, considering the position he plays and how well he plays it. That’s insane.

In all seriousness, I wouldn't be surprised if his immaturity may set him back for a couple of games. He's been benched in the middle of a game by his manager and then hit by the first pitch of the next game by a team with which he has a confrontational history.

There's no doubt in my mind that Mattingly had his pitcher hit Acuña intentionally just to see how much they could get inside RA's head.

League OPS is skewing your perception. He's not even going to reach 5 WAR on the season.

I’m sure you’re perfectly fine with Donaldson’s mannerisms though. I wonder what the difference is between the two?

I cannot imagine it's what you meant, but the way this is worded it seems implied that he had fault in that "confrontational history."
