That required the ball dying in the outfield grass, a perfect relay, and a tag without blocking the plate. Phils got all of those. That's probably an out one time out of 20.

If I’m Dansby and he blocks the plate...he pays. He should have been a linebacker instead of sliding to the side. He does that and the catcher doesn’t make the catch. Once he’s in FRONT of home plate in the baseline....he would have a bruised sternum.

Yeah, but they won’t call it. Dansby needed to knock the crap out of him. He would have never have caught it and he would be safe. I probably just about knocked a couple of catchers out like that in high school. Hated it...because it’s also dangerous if you are trying to slide when they do that crap. They 100% know exactly what they are doing. You have to make them pay. He was set up in front the whole time.
