GDT 8/23/22: Braves @ Pirates - Maxing out for Max

Curious how far Snit is willing to ride Dansby in the 2 hole.

he’s on his seasonal fade and fatigue right now.

will he move him before a October.
 
Really will be fascinating to see what we do with Grissom in October if he keeps this up. Easiest answer is he DHs but then we take bat out of Contreras. Really hope we are at least seeing how he looks in left field
 
Tomorrow is the perfect day to give dansby a day off. Let Grissom play SS and Adrianza 2b. Dansby gets 2 days off before St. Louis

Dansby currently a .666 OPS this month.

It’s the time of year where he starts fatiguing when Freddie kept forcing him to play when he needed a day off.

Snit might leave him in the two hole the rest of the yeae and it might cost us.

If Ozzie comes back and struggles against righties and Grissom is still going well, would we could consider a second base platoon?

Leaving Swanson in the two hole for a month isn’t going to cost us anything.
