GDT 8-23: Nick Allen's Day Off

Thank God college football is back. I'm about 20 mins from taking out my eyes with a spoon from watching the 2024 and 2025 braves

He’s actually quite good, tonight’s performance notwithstanding.

Have you ever not overreacted to a single have?
I was just talking crap, but looking at him closely...
Since June 1 - 4.99 FIP
Since July 1 - 6.06 FIP
Since aug 1 - 5.47 FIP

Lee is a 31 soft tossing lefty reliever who has had some success.... but he should not be counted on as the highest leverage reliever in a bad BP. The Braves need to figure out how to get some damn guys who can pop 97+ with consistence along with a few of these junk ballers. AA has a shit ton of work to do this off season.... the question is will he have the actual balls to pull it off.

Did not realize that Atlanta is only 2 games out from passing 4 teams in front of them. With the extremely weak schedule at the end with 10 games against Washington and Pittsburgh, they can easily wreck their draft odds.

16 straight coming up against the Phillies, Cubs, Mariners, and Astros. Throw in three with the Tigers. And we've been bad against bad teams. I think we'll be ok.

You seriously don’t like Tommy Glavine announcing ?
Damn man… I think he’s great- he knows more about MLB pitching than I do…To each his own I suppose.
It's ironic how much of a boomer Scheff himself sounds like when he complains about the announcers talking about things he doesn't like.
