NO! Freeman must always bat third! Forever! Even if it means having to put a light hitting righty in the 2 hole, Freeman must bat third! Because if he doesn't then Upton would have to bat third and Freeman would have to bat 4th. Just imagine the horror!
 
But at this point we can't afford to handing out days off. At this point every single game is huge. Granted each game is important, but when you have had multiple chances to pull away from Washington and now they had an opportunity and did just that, we need to win a lot the rest of the way out.

If a day off means better performances on a more consistent basis, that would work better than killing everyone to get to the Wild Card game and crapping out because our #3 hitter can barely stand.

Oh I agree. It's just that we can't really afford that luxury at this point.
